About Clintwood
Clintwood Virginia The rich history, old world charm, and natural surroundings of Clintwood, Virginia presents many opportunities for the area to become the next Gaitlenburg, Tennessee. Formerly a mining and logging community nestled peacefully within the Appalachian Mountains, the area's tourism centers are growing and attracting more and more visitors every year. Dickenson County hosts a growing variety of cultural, historical, and adventure seeker activities from white water rafting to bluegrass events.

The Dickenson County's Chamber of Commerce is stationed inside the former home of Clintwood's former medical residence. Rita Surratt, the director of tourism for Dickenson county, will greet you from this amazing building and explain to you in person what her hometown has to offer visiting guests.
